So austere, so divine---
Once again your eyes flicker
Just barely catching mine
Like an old, forgotten Roman goddess
No one remembers the name to
You weave your way through
With self-loathing and pride
Your own walking contradiction
Of elegance and disgrace
Enough to fool the masses
But not enough to hide your shame
Weave your web of deceitful honesty
But remember the haunting flow
The farce is only the glare
That hides your face in our view
Do you think lady
You could paint that picture again
The one that fades into the sun?

Missing You
Missing you reminds me
That somewhere inside I’m human
That I am not as callous as once thought
Missing you means that my heart
Has not gone numb
Despite the pain throughout my life.
Missing you has taught me
What is really important in life
What makes my heart beat daily
Missing you is a moment in every day
Reminding me that you are still
One of the fondest memories of my heart.
Missing you has shown me
That I can be stronger than I ever knew
That I can make it through anything
Missing you has brought me peace
Because I know how much you loved me
And you taught me to love myself.

Love Me Tonight & Tomorrow
Spend time with me tonight
Come to bed with me
Lay down crisp sheets
Rest your head 'bout my soft breasts
Just be with me
Rest without distraction
Caress my body with your touch
Spoil me with sweet words
And love me with your hands
Sleep softly, holding me
Until faint sunlight breaks
Across naked flesh and twisted sheets
Wake with me to face the day
Telling me you love me
And you'll be here always.
